Terms of Service
Last updated: 31 July 2026
These terms are maintained by Anup Transport Company and govern use of this application. They are a working draft for the platform itself and should be reviewed by the company's legal advisor before being relied on commercially, particularly the liability and transport-contract clauses.
1. Accounts and roles
Accounts are created by request and activated by an administrator. Each account is assigned one role — administrator, driver, or customer — which determines what data and actions are available. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity performed under your account. Sharing credentials is not permitted.
2. Acceptable use
You agree not to attempt to access data belonging to other users, probe or bypass access controls, upload malicious files, or use the platform to store content unrelated to transport operations. Accounts may be suspended for misuse.
3. Bookings and transport services
A booking request submitted through the customer portal is a request, not a confirmed movement. A booking becomes binding when it is confirmed by Anup Transport Company and a trip is assigned. The actual transport of goods is governed by the company's separate transport contract, consignment note, and applicable Indian carriage law; these platform terms do not replace them.
4. Documents and records
Documents uploaded against a trip (delivery order, gate pass, e-way bill, proof of delivery and similar) must be accurate and legible. The uploader is responsible for the correctness of what they upload. The company retains these records for statutory and operational purposes.
5. Invoicing and payment
Invoices are raised with GST applied according to the place of supply — CGST and SGST for intra-state movements, IGST for inter-state movements. Amounts shown in the portal are in Indian Rupees. Payment terms, detention, and demurrage charges are as agreed in the customer's commercial contract. Disputes on an invoice must be raised with the company within the period stated in that contract.
6. Availability
The company aims to keep the platform available at all times but does not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance, hosting provider incidents, or connectivity failures may cause temporary unavailability. Operations continue offline in such cases and records are updated afterwards.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the company is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the platform itself, such as data entry errors by users or temporary unavailability. Liability for the physical carriage of goods is governed by the transport contract and applicable law, not by these terms.
8. Termination
The company may deactivate an account that is no longer in use or that breaches these terms. You may request deactivation of your account at any time; statutory records already generated are retained.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, with jurisdiction in the courts of the company's registered place of business.
